Removing password from OK prompt in solaris

1.  In OS level execute init 0 command (or) press " stop+A" in SPARC machine

2.  Execute Boot net -s  (or) boot cdrom -s

3.  mkdir a

4.  pwd
     result is /tmp/root/

5.  mount /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0  /tmp/root/a

6.  cd a

7.  cd etc

8. vi shadow

9.  remove the encrypted password field in root account information

10. save the file : wq (or) wq!

11. reboot the system and enter the root account without password
